Calling all families - Geckos community from the past, present or future, or anyone interested in a fun family day out - Come join our celebration! 🎉 We are so thrilled to be reaching our 10 Year milestone in 2024, and are throwing a big party to celebrate. Don't forget to bring $10 for entry (food and drink cost for the whole family included!), and a mug from home for all your Glühwein and hot chocolate needs ☕

Today, we wrapped up Term 1 with our annual Osterfeier (Easter Celebration!)

Our fun and games included an Eierlauf (egg and spoon race)🥄, Eier farben (Easter egg colouring)🥚, basteln (crafting) ✂️, Sackhüpfen (sack race)🏃‍♀️, and of course...an Eiersuch (egg hunt)🍫!

A very big thank you to all our Geckos families who brought an amazing spread of food so we could celebrate in style 😊

Our last day of school for term 4 was followed by a magical Christmas celebration. We sang German Christmas carols, ate yummy Christmas food, and enjoyed a special visit from Sankt Nickolaus! 🎁💖

We wish our entire school community a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year ✨

The Christmas Market at the German Lutheran Trinity Church begins next weekend - come say Hallo at our stall! From 12pm-5pm on the first two Sundays in December, the German Christmas Markets offer a magical day out for the whole family ✨

There will be children's activities, gifts to buy your loved ones and your favourite German Christmas foods 🍰 🎅

We are welcoming contributions of homemade jams, chutneys and baked goods to sell at the Geckos stall, with all proceeds going towards improving our school. If you have something to contribute please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
